Learn to Listen. Learn to Lead.

About us

Why We Started YouthSync

Nowadays, most classroom discussions move too fast. And sometimes students speak because participation is graded, or they speak just to defend their own opinion; yet few leave the table having truly understood someone they disagreed with.

Frankly, YouthSync started simply because we wanted something different. We wanted a place where listening mattered just as much as speaking, where students could challenge ideas without attacking people, and where difficult questions were welcomed instead of avoided.

Teacher and students engaged in a classroom discussion in Montevideo, Uruguay.
Our core

What We Practice

01

Listen First:

We believe understanding someone comes before trying to change their mind.

02

Ask Better Questions:

Some ideas become accepted simply because they have always been there. We encourage students to question respectfully, especially when the conversation feels uncomfortable.

03

Connect Different Worlds:

Some of the most interesting conversations happen where law, science, economics, education, and public policy intersect.

Bring Your Questions...

What You’ll Find

YouthSync isn’t another debate club.

It’s a place where students slow down, ask better questions, and learn how to disagree without dismissing each other.
